Daniel Berkowitz is an Associate at Kerben Law Firm, P.C., where he represents clients in both immigration and personal injury matters. His dual practice allows him to advocate for immigrants facing removal proceedings, asylum applications, and family-based petitions, while also securing justice for individuals injured through negligence. 

Mr. Berkowitz has represented clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). In his personal injury practice, he handles cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other injury claims, drawing on his unique background in the medical field to understand the full scope of his clients’ injuries and recovery needs. 

Daniel earned his J.D. Magna Cum Laude from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Old Westbury with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Before entering the legal profession, he worked at one of New York’s largest orthopedic surgical practices, where he developed a meticulous attention to detail and deep empathy for individuals navigating physical and emotional challenges—qualities that continue to guide his legal advocacy today.
